Cervical Spondylosis
An abnormal hardness of neck bones resulting in compression of spinal nerves roots in the neck(cervical) region; causes neck pain, Dizziness, headache, muscular weakness and paresthesia of upper Arms.
CAUSES
BONE SPURS
Overgrowth of bones are result of the body trying to grow extra bone to make the spine stronger.
DEHYDRATED SPINAL DISK
Spinal bones have disc between them, which are thick , pad like cushions that absorb the shock of lifting, twisting, and other activities.
HERNIATED DISC
The spinal discs can develop cracks which allows leakage of the internal cushioning material. This material can create pressure on the spinal
Chord and nerves , resulting in symptoms such as arm numbness and sciatica.
INJURY
Injury to your neck, cervical vertebrae, shoulder, upper back.

· A stiff, painful neck, dizziness
· Pain in the shoulder, arm or chest region
· Tingling and pin prick sensation in the arms ,hands, legs or feet

· loss of control on the bladder and bowel

1.Neck Flexibility assessment
2. Neurological Exam
3.Neck or Spinal x-ray may show abnormalities such as bone spurs, that indicate Cervical spondylosis
4.CT scan/MRI
